An Tran is the author of the short story collection MEDITATIONS ON THE MOTHER TONGUE (C&R Press, 2017). His short fiction and essays have appeared in the Southern Humanities Review, Gargoyle Magazine, The Carolina Quarterly, Sundog Lit, and elsewhere. His work has received ‘Notable’ distinctions from the Best American series, been nominated for The Pushcart Prize, as well as shortlisted for storySouth’s Million Writers Award.
